Villarreal’s new defender Willy Kambwala has paid his respects and made an open letter to his former club Manchester United and the Red Army fans who supported him during his four years at the club.
Kambwala was unveil as a new player for the ‘Yellow Submarine’ yesterday for a fee of £8.4m (around €10m), signing until June 2029.
The Red Devils have insert a clause allowing them to buy back the 19-year-old centre-back in the future before the deadline, which is state in the purchase-sale contract, which is not publicly disclose.

The French player joined the Red Devils’ youth system from Sochaux in the summer of 2020 and has since progressed to the senior side, making 10 appearances in all competitions last season.
