Manchester United legend Ryan Giggs has backed Eric Ten Hag saying. He has tried everything with Jadon Sancho over their feud.
Sancho was left out of United’s squad that lost 3-1 to Arsenal on Sunday. And when asked about his decision to do so, Ten Hag revealed that. He was not impressed by the winger’s training level which was not up to standard.
Unsurprisingly, Sancho, who joins the Red Devils for £73 million in 2021 is unhappy with the comments insisting that. He was being made a scapegoat. And there is nothing unusual for him on the practice field.
It results in Sancho’s future being in uncertainty. But with him not moving to Saudi Arabia on deadline day for the Middle East League. He will therefore have to stay at Old Trafford until at least January UFABET
Giggs believes it looks as though Ten Hag are doing their best to get the most out of the winger and has advised Sancho to show his boss what he can do. Or continue to sit with a sullen expression on your face.
“It looks like it will be the last throw of the dice. Let’s talk about him in front of the media. and see how he reacts,”
Giggs said.
“From the outside, you don’t know. But it seems like Ten Hag has tried everything with Sancho and actually when he came to the club I was his fan.”
“I think he will get better. Can be improved Which he didn’t do in such a short period of time. Where he is with the team, for me he always makes the right choices in the final third, which is rare for a young winger.”
“But it didn’t happen. He (Ten Haag) sent him to get fit. He has tried different positions and for me talking about him publicly is probably a last resort or a last ditch effort to get the best out of Sancho.”
“The player can respond and think ‘that’s right’. I will show him and show the manager my potential. Or he might feel like he’s frowning and not wanting anything. Now it’s up to Sancho. I know he has a lot of training. And for me training at United, from my experience, is more difficult than playing in games.”
“You have to show your form in training to be able to play on Saturday. He must improve That’s the important thing. Because you have a manager who doesn’t accept that every day.”
“If it is true that his training performance is not good enough. You won’t be able to play.”
